Inventory

Compare, push and Direct Edit

Reconcile store differences and work with inventory edited on BrickLink.

For everyday work, add and edit stock in the app and let it send changes to connected marketplaces. Use these controls when reconciling differences, recovering a failed delivery, or deliberately editing on BrickLink.

Compare inventory

  1. Open Inventory → Compare inventory.
  2. Choose App vs BrickLink, App vs BrickOwl, or BrickLink vs BrickOwl.
  3. Review the differing lots. Decide which values are correct before changing stock or starting a push.

A comparison helps you identify differences; it is not a replacement for reviewing their cause. If Direct Edit is on, the app may not yet include your BrickLink edits.

When to use manual Push

Normal app additions and saved lot edits send changes automatically when inventory sync is enabled and the marketplace is connected. You do not need to push after every edit.

Use Push inventory for the relevant marketplace when intentionally reconciling stock or retrying pending updates after a failure. Review the operation’s result and compare again if needed. During setup, a first push to BrickOwl can populate that connected store from your imported inventory.

Use BrickLink Direct Edit

  1. Finish other inventory work, then turn on BrickLink Direct Edit before making your changes on BrickLink.
  2. Edit on BrickLink. While Direct Edit is on, in-app edits and outgoing stock updates are paused; background repricing also pauses.
  3. Return to the app and choose to turn Direct Edit off. Review and confirm the import from BrickLink.
  4. Wait for the import to finish. Direct Edit turns off after the import, and the app then syncs to BrickOwl if it is connected.

Direct Edit is optional. Leave it off when you manage inventory through Brick Order Picker. Importing replaces app values with the BrickLink values involved in the operation, so review your store state first.

Check what changed

Review the operation summary and Inventory Audit. Resolve reported errors before treating the stores as reconciled.
