This section explains what happens after setup: how orders arrive, how inventory stays in sync, and where to go next.
When orders sync
- During setup — The Getting Started wizard triggers an initial order sync when you finish. Keep the page open until setup completes; orders then appear on the Orders page as they load.
- Automatically — The app automatically checks for new orders. You do not need to do anything for new BrickLink or BrickOwl orders to show up.
- Manual sync — Use Sync orders on the Orders page anytime you want to pull the latest orders immediately.
- First import vs ongoing — Your first sync loads order history for picking and reporting. It does not subtract quantities from inventory. Only new orders synced after your inventory is connected are eligible for automatic inventory deduction (see below).
How orders subtract from inventory
When a new marketplace order is synced, the app can automatically reduce inventory quantities for the parts on that order. This keeps your stock aligned across the app and your stores.
Deduction runs when all of these are true:
- The order is newly synced (not re-processed on every sync)
- You have an active subscription or free trial
- Inventory sync is enabled in Settings and at least one inventory sync has completed
- The order date is after your inventory was connected (older orders are not deducted retroactively)
- The order is not cancelled or purged
What happens: Quantities decrease in the app's inventory, updates are sent to BrickLink and/or BrickOwl when configured, and each change is recorded in Inventory Audit with reason order fulfilled.
If inventory sync was turned off during setup, in-app editing and automatic deduction are limited until you enable it in Settings.
Everyday inventory updates
When inventory sync is enabled, adding stock through the app and saving lot edits sends changes to your connected stores. You do not need a manual push after every app edit. Review the result for any marketplace delivery errors.
Advanced reconciliation
Use Compare, push and Direct Edit when investigating differences, retrying pending updates or making deliberate edits on BrickLink. Direct Edit is optional and should remain off for normal app-managed inventory.
